Swepiracy is a private tracker, which means that you have to be a registrated member to access the whole site.

We are in permanent need of donations, since the site lives on this concept. Donating to Swepiracy, makes it possible for us to develop and keep on running. For further information about donations, click here.

Account information

If you have not received a confirmation mail after registrating your account, there is a possibility to find the mail in the spam box. If the message cannot be found there either, click here in order to delete your account and try to register again.

Have you lost your username or password, please use this link to have the details sent to your mail.

If your account has been deactivated, you have probably made a serious action against our rules.

A deleted account is never reset. An account will never be deleted, if you not leave your account inactive for 28 days or more, have a ratio below the minumum limit for a week or more, or commit a serious action against our rules. If you are aware of that you will not be able to access your account for a long period, you can park your account in your profile and prevent it from being deleted.

Archive/Old

All users are permitted to upload torrents older than five days to this section. Be careful though, the uploading rules must be adhered to.

All torrents uploaded in "Archive/Old" will be automatically set free (free leech/green).

Blu-ray

Only untouched Bluray movies are placed in this category, in other words material directly ripped from the original source without changes in size, picture ratio or resolution. There is no demand on scene releases, but the uploading rules must be adhered to in general.

All non-scene release names must always end with "-SP" and be designed according to normal standard.

Blu-ray torrents will be automatically set free.

Clients

These clients are banned from Swepiracy and therefore not possible to use:

Azureus - 4.6 and older
BitComet
Deluge - 1.3.2 and older
rTorrent - 0.7 and older
Transmission - 2.3 and older
uTorrent - 2.1 and older

Guarded movies

Here you are able to state what upcoming movies you wish to be informed about when being uploaded. Adding the IMDb link related to the movie, the system will via PM automatically notice you that the movie is available.

If you have selected RSS, the movie will be automatically placed in your bookmarks, and thus in your private RSS feed.

Invites

The invite system makes it possible for all Power Users and higher to invite friends and familiars to Swepiracy. Invites are collected through the bonus shop and through donations.

A sent invite may be cancelled before used by the receiver, and accordingly be paid back to the sender. This will render the sent link invalid.

Please observe that in order to get access to the account, the confirmation link sent after registration has to be followed.

Ratio

Ratio is the factor between what you have uploaded and what you have downloaded. Thus, 700 MB downloaded traffic and 350 MB uploaded traffic would mean 350/700, a ratio of 0.5.

At Swepiracy, your ratio must not be less than 1.0 if you have downloaded 10 GB or more. If you go under this limit, you will be automatically warned, from which point you have one week to improve your ratio in order not to be deleted and banned.

Torrents marked as "free leech" (marked with green) means that only uploaded traffic will count to your ratio, thus your ratio will only be positively influenced. Torrents uploaded in the "Archive" section and in the category SPpack will be automatically green.

Requests

A request is a wish for material of some kind not already uploaded at Swepiracy. You must be at least Power User to create these, and the maximum simultaneously active amount varies between the user classes (for more info, see "User classes"). If prefered, additional request slots can be bought through the bonus system.

Every request must be named with proper release name and include a link to the .nfo of the release, alternatively a dupesite that clearly confirms the existence of the release. The material requested may not be newer than five days. If you do not adhere to these guide lines, you will receive a warning.

While creating your request, you do also have the option to set a reward based on bonus points, which will make your request more attractive to upload.

In order to upload a request belonging to someone else, you must be at least Power User. Remember that the same rules apply here as with ordinary torrents (for more info, read the uploading rules). The column "Points" contains information about how many points the request is worth, which will be rewarded to a possible uploader.

If the release group is not of greatest importance to you, it is possible to replace the release group in the release name with -anygrp. Please observe though, that the rules in general do still apply.

RSS

Through the RSS system, you can according to your own choices generate a link used to show the torrents satisfying the demands specified. You may either use this link directly in your browser or in your client. This option is a great alternative for those who not have the time to perform every search through the website.

SPpack

Only complete collections may be uploaded in the category "SPpack". These collections are uploaded in adherence to the ordinary uploading rules - what differs are releasename, releasedate and .nfo:

the releasename shall always end with "-SP" and labels in the releasename, such as volume, episode or other irrelevant information, must be replaced or removed.

Ex: Two.And.A.Half.Men.S04D04.PAL.DVDR-SAiNTS -> Two.And.A.Half.Men.S04.PAL.DVDR-SP
Ex: The.Simpsons.S11D03.NORDIC.PAL.DVDR-WILDER -> The.Simpsons.S11.NORDIC.PAL.DVDR-SP
SPpack may contain releases older than five days.
the .nfo does only have to include the releasenames of the material contained.
only complete packages may be uploaded, such as a complete season of a TV show.
torrents uploaded as SPpack must be customly created, in other words no scene packages.

SSL

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) means that all data between client and server (user and swepiracy) becomes encrypted and extremely hard to see by unauthorized. Unfortunately, it is not possible to use an encrypted connection when downloading, since our tracker software has no connection to our web server.

You activate SSL by changing from http to https in your browser URL. Since we did not see it necessary to buy an authorized SSL-certificate, we generated our own. Your browser will therefore probably warn you that the site is not secure, which you of course can ignore.

The bonus system

The bonus system makes it possible for all Power Users and higher to collect bonus points. Every user has its own bonus fetching date. This is once a week.

If you as Power User, or through a donation, have managed to collect an amount of bonus points, you will not be able to use these if you for some reason become degraded below the Power User class.

The donated part of our monthly costs is by percentage shown here. The meter is set to zero the first in every month.

NB: For the moment, we only accept donations via PayPal!

Torrents

A dead torrent (torrent without seeders) will be automatically deleted after a week of inactivity. A torrent may also be deleted if it does not adhere to our rules, which in such case will result in minus points concerning the uploader.

Torrents at Swepiracy shall in general only be scenereleases, there is one exception only; material of other than scene quality may be placed in the "p2p" category, but only if no material from the scene yet have been released, or if there has been a scene release released during the same day that has not yet been uploaded.

User classes

User

The class every user starts with. As User, you will not have access to the bonus system and you cannot create nor upload requests.

User+

Like User. To become User+, you must have uploaded 25GB and have a ratio of not less than 1.05.

Power User

Now you have access to use the bonus system, create requests (maximum two at a time), upload requests and invite friends. To become Power User, you must have been a member for at least four weeks, have uploaded 25GB and have a ratio of not less than 1.05.

Sophisticated User

Like Power User, but now you can request up to four releases and you are granted access to the forum section for Sophisticated Users only. To become Sophisticated User, you must have been a member for at least 20 weeks, have uploaded 1TB and have a ratio of not less than 1.20.

Marvelous User

Like Sophisticated User, but now you can request unlimited and edit your personal title. To become Marvelous User, you must have been a member for at least 40 weeks, have uploaded 5TB and have a ratio of not less than 1.50.

Blissful User

Like Marvelous User. To become Blissful User, you must have been a member for at least 60 weeks, have uploaded 10TB, have downloaded 500GB and have a ratio of not less than 2.

VIP

As VIP, your account is protected from being deleted due to inactivity. All VIPs are chosen by staff in relation with a great sacrifice to Swepiracy.

Uploader

Like VIP, but you do also have permission to upload. To become an Uploader, this application has to be filled out and sent to staff.

Moderator

Moderates in forum, comments, torrents and user accounts. All Moderators are chosen by Administrators or higher.

Administrator

Has complete rights. You can only become an Administrator after a long time of duty as Moderator.
